Billing and profile
Billing (workspace-level) and Profile (personal) sit next to each other in the Account & sharing section of Settings, but they’re independent - Billing affects everyone in the workspace, Profile only affects you.
Billing
Section titled “Billing”Only workspace owners and admins can manage billing. Members and viewers see a redacted view: they can tell the workspace has an active plan, but not its price, renewal date, or invoice history.
Kreel has no free tier. Plans are priced by brand workspaces and seats included - see Workspaces, brands, and seats for the current tier table and trial mechanics. All platforms and the full feature set are included on every plan; there are no separate API-call, history, or per-platform limits.
Seats and brands meters
Section titled “Seats and brands meters”The Billing page shows two meters: seats and brands, each as used / purchased, with the included amount from your tier and any paid add-ons broken out.
Click Add seat or Add brand to open a dialog where you choose a quantity, see the exact monthly cost before confirming, and add or remove capacity. You can’t remove an add-on below what’s currently in use - remove a team member or delete a brand first if you need to shed a purchased seat or brand you’re using in full.
- Adding capacity while trialing is billed starting when the trial converts to a paid subscription; outside a trial it’s prorated onto your next invoice and charged automatically.
- Removing capacity takes effect immediately and is reflected on your next invoice.
Subscription status
Section titled “Subscription status”The top of the Billing page reflects the workspace’s current subscription status in Paddle:
- Trialing - the 14-day trial is active; a banner shows days remaining and the date your card will be charged.
- Past due - a payment failed; Paddle is retrying automatically, access continues, and a banner links to updating your payment method.
- Unpaid - the subscription is paused in Paddle; dashboard and agent access is limited until it’s resumed, and the banner asks you to contact support@kreel.ai to resume it. Data syncing pauses and catches up automatically once the subscription is reactivated.
- Cancelled - the subscription ended; re-subscribe anytime from the tier cards. Syncing pauses the same way as Unpaid until you do.
If the plan is scheduled to cancel, a banner shows the date, and you keep access until then. Any owner or admin can click Resume plan to keep the subscription.
A workspace with complimentary (grandfathered) access shows no renewal date, no card, and no invoices - capacity changes for these go through support@kreel.ai rather than self-serve add-ons.
Checkout and plan changes
Section titled “Checkout and plan changes”Choosing a plan opens Paddle checkout over the Billing page. Paddle is Kreel’s reseller and merchant of record: it takes the payment and issues the invoices, and Kreel doesn’t store payment details itself.
On a live plan, choosing another tier changes it in place and keeps your add-ons; outside a trial the difference is prorated onto your next invoice. A plan can’t be changed while a payment has failed or while a cancellation is scheduled - update the payment method or resume the plan first.
Invoices, cancelling and the billing portal
Section titled “Invoices, cancelling and the billing portal”Click Invoices (or Manage subscription) to open Paddle’s billing portal. Invoice history, PDF downloads, updating the saved card, and cancelling all happen there. Any owner or admin can also replace the card from Billing with Update card on an active plan, or from the failed-payment banner. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current billing period, or at the end of the trial during a trial. You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your first payment; see the refund policy.
Only the person who pays for the plan can open the portal: the owner or admin whose email Paddle holds as the plan’s customer. Their Paddle account can pay for other workspaces too, so the portal isn’t shared with the rest of the workspace. Anyone else sees whose email it is (partly hidden), so they know who to ask. If the person who pays has left the team, email support@kreel.ai.
Profile
Section titled “Profile”Your Profile page covers three things, each saved independently:
- Full name - shown to teammates across the workspace.
- Email - your sign-in email. Changing it sends a confirmation link to the new address; the change only takes effect once you confirm.
- Password - set a new one directly. If you’re signed in with Google, there’s no password to set here.
Forgot your password?
Section titled “Forgot your password?”From the sign-in page, use Forgot password to have Kreel email you a reset link - you don’t need to be signed in for this.
Need help?
Section titled “Need help?”Email support@kreel.ai.
