Connect Klaviyo to Kreel

Kreel brings your ecommerce data into one place. Once you connect Klaviyo, your email campaign and flow performance shows up next to your store revenue and ad spend, so you can see how email contributes to the business. You can also connect that data to your own AI agent over MCP or the CLI.

You need:

  • A Kreel account with a workspace admin role. Only a workspace admin can start a new platform connection. Sign up at app.kreel.ai.
  • Access to a Klaviyo account with a role that can approve OAuth access, since you authorize the connection with your own Klaviyo login.
  1. Sign in to Kreel at app.kreel.ai.
  2. In the left navigation, open Connections.
  3. Find Klaviyo and click Connect.
  4. You are sent to Klaviyo to authorize the connection. Review the access and approve. Kreel requests read-only access only.
  5. After you approve, Klaviyo returns you to Kreel and the connection shows as active.

The first sync starts automatically. Depending on your account size, it can take a few minutes to pull your history. You do not need to keep the page open.

Kreel connects with read-only access. It reads your email campaigns, flows, lists, segments, and account details.

A few things worth knowing about what actually syncs:

  • Only email-channel campaigns sync. Klaviyo SMS campaigns are not read.
  • Flow structure (name, status, trigger, tags) syncs for every flow, but flow metrics such as opens and clicks only sync for email sends. An SMS-only flow shows no metrics in Kreel.
  • Klaviyo’s metric definitions are used internally to match orders to campaigns and flows for revenue attribution. They are not a separate list you browse in Kreel.

Kreel does not send, edit, or delete anything in Klaviyo. It only reads data to display it back to you.

Once connected, Klaviyo data refreshes automatically:

  • Campaigns and flow metrics (opens, clicks, and revenue for recent activity) refresh daily, at 00:00 UTC.
  • Flow structure, lists, and segments refresh weekly, every Sunday at 01:00 UTC.

You can also start a sync manually from Connections at any time by clicking Re-sync.

Kreel keeps up to 365 days of Klaviyo history on current plans. That window covers your initial sync after connecting and every subsequent Re-sync.

For how this compares across platforms, see Sync and data freshness.

Once the first sync finishes:

  • Open the Email section to see campaign and flow performance, including open, click, and revenue metrics. You can filter by the tags synced from Klaviyo.
  • Open the Performance section to see email revenue next to Shopify revenue and ad spend across Meta and Google.

If you use an AI assistant like Claude or ChatGPT, you can connect Kreel to it over MCP or the CLI and ask questions about your data directly.

To disconnect Klaviyo, open Connections, find Klaviyo, and click Revoke. Confirm the action by clicking Revoke access in the dialog. Kreel stops syncing immediately. Your synced Klaviyo data is kept for 90 days in case you reconnect, then permanently deleted. Reconnecting the same Klaviyo account within that window keeps your history intact.
