Inventory

Performance → Inventory flags products at risk of running out, by comparing recent sell-through velocity against current stock.

Kreel resolves your product identity settings - merges, splits, and exclusions - before computing velocity, so a listing you’ve merged or split is measured as one canonical product, and excluded listings contribute nothing. A listing that’s never been resolved into an identity group still appears, marked No SKU, but is excluded from alerting.

The page opens with one sentence: how many products run out within your stockout threshold, naming the one that runs out first, for example “2 products run out within 14 days: Tidal Swimsuit (6 days).” With none at risk it says so, and when some products have no cover figure (not tracked, no SKU, or not enough history) it says how many, so an untracked catalog never reads as a clean bill of health. Dead stock adds a second sentence.

Three tiles follow: Stockout risk (with how many are critical), Dead stock, and Products tracked.

Columns: Product, Status, Available, Sold per day, Days of cover, Linked ad spend / day.

  • Product carries a No SKU or Partly tracked chip when applicable.
  • Status is a badge: OK, Stockout risk (red when critical, amber otherwise), Dead stock, or a grey Not tracked, No stock, no sales, Not enough history or No SKU.
  • Available and Days of cover are whole numbers; Sold per day has one decimal. A dash means unknown: days of cover is blank when nothing sold or stock is unknown.
  • Linked ad spend / day shows a figure, or a dash when no active Meta ad is linked or linked ads spent under the floor (see below). A dash doesn’t mean there’s no ad spend at all, only none Kreel could confidently link.

Velocity and cover are computed over the trailing 28 completed reporting days, counting only the days since a product’s first sale (or since it was created, if it hasn’t sold). Once 28 days of stock snapshots exist, out-of-stock days are left out of the sales rate too.

  • Not tracked: no known tracked quantity for this product.
  • No stock, no sales: zero available stock and zero units sold in the window.
  • Not enough history: fewer than 7 selling days, or under 28 days of known history with no sales; too little data to alert on yet.
  • No SKU: a listing outside your product identity groups; shown, never alerted.
  • Dead stock: positive stock, zero units sold in the window, at least 28 days of known history, and an active listing.
  • Stockout risk: days of cover at or below your brand’s stockout-alert threshold; critical at half the threshold or below.

The threshold is a brand setting (default 14 days, adjustable from 1 to 365).

Kreel best-effort links Meta ad spend to each product through your creative-to-product links. A spend figure only appears once the product’s active Meta ads spent at least the linked-spend floor (10 in your brand currency) over the trailing 7 completed days; paused, inactive, or unknown-status ads are excluded. Spend can appear against more than one product when a creative links to several, so linked spend is not additive across products: don’t sum it into a total.

A How this is calculated disclosure under the table, closed by default, repeats the window and threshold, the snapshot count behind the out-of-stock exclusion, how many flagged products have linked spend, and how many products are not tracked, have no SKU, or don’t have enough history. It only shows the lines that apply.

  • No brand selected: “Select a brand to see inventory.”
  • Loading: placeholder tiles and table rows.
  • Load failed: an error card with Retry.
  • No products at all: “No inventory products found.”

Inventory velocity and its alerts are also available to your connected AI agent through MCP or the CLI, including a projected lost-revenue estimate for stockout-risk rows that isn’t shown in the dashboard table - ask your agent for it directly if you want that number.
