Portfolio
Portfolio is a cross-brand view: one card per brand you can access, with the same headline metrics side by side. Use it to scan every brand at a glance before drilling into one.
Where to find it
Section titled “Where to find it”Open Portfolio in the left navigation. It sits outside the Dashboard group on purpose - it isn’t scoped to one active brand, so it doesn’t use the shared per-brand Analytics range bar. It has its own range presets instead.
If you can reach two or more brands (across any workspace), Portfolio is where you land right after signing in. A single-brand account still lands on that brand’s Overview directly.
Layout
Section titled “Layout”Brands are grouped into sections by workspace, with a workspace heading shown only when you belong to more than one workspace. When every brand in a workspace section shares the same currency and the same resolved revenue policy (tax/shipping inclusion and excluded sales channels), that section shows a subtotal card - Revenue, Ad spend, Orders, MER. Otherwise the subtotal is left off entirely, rather than adding currencies or policies together.
Per-brand card
Section titled “Per-brand card”Each brand gets its own card:
- Header - the brand name and its currency code, plus a freshness badge when something needs your attention: “Missing data” (a connected platform has no queryable data yet) or a badge naming how many days stale (the oldest connected platform’s data lags the period end).
- Period line - the selected range, and
vs {range}once a comparison resolves. - Headline metrics - Revenue, Spend, MER, and Orders, each with a period-over-period delta chip. Spend’s chip is neutral (gray), since more or less spend isn’t inherently good or bad.
- Per-platform lines, shown only for platforms the brand actually has data for in the window - a platform with nothing to report is left off, never shown as zero:
- Meta - Spend, ROAS, CPM, CTR
- Google - Spend, ROAS, CPC, Conv.
- Klaviyo - Revenue, Share, Open, Click
A brand with no connected platforms and no stored history shows “No platforms connected yet, so there is nothing to report” instead of a metrics grid, with a Connect platforms button into that brand’s Connections page.
When a brand has reports waiting for approval before client delivery, its card (and its row in the compact table) shows “N report drafts to approve”.
The count covers agent drafts and held scheduled report runs, and drops a draft once it is approved, rejected, withdrawn or expired.
Select it to open that brand’s Reports page on the Drafts tab.
Agents read the same count as pending_report_approvals from get_portfolio.
Open a brand from its card
Section titled “Open a brand from its card”Click anywhere on a card with data (or press Enter/Space when it’s focused) to open that brand’s Overview page directly. This also switches your active workspace and brand if the card belongs to a different one than you’re currently in.
A Sort control switches the card order between Revenue, Spend, MER, and Biggest decline (the largest negative period-over-period revenue change). Biggest decline only works with a comparison window active - without one, sorting silently falls back to Revenue.
Metric definitions
Section titled “Metric definitions”Revenue, Orders, and AOV-adjacent figures here use the same refund-correct, net Shopify figures as everywhere else in Kreel - see Revenue accounting. Ad spend is a direct sum of Meta, Google, and TikTok spend with no currency conversion across brands, so don’t compare raw spend or revenue figures between brands that use different currencies - only ratios like MER are safe to compare across them. MER is store-net revenue divided by ad spend, the same formula used everywhere else - see the metrics glossary. A brand with no Shopify store connected shows “No store connected” in place of revenue, orders, and MER (hover them for the reason) and sorts after the brands that have them. A workspace subtotal’s revenue, orders, and MER cover only the brands with a store, and its spend covers every brand.
Ask your agent
Section titled “Ask your agent”The same cross-brand summary is available to your connected AI agent through the get_portfolio MCP tool, which also returns the exact numerator and denominator behind each MER figure so it’s checkable rather than a black box.
