Workspaces, brands, and seats

Kreel’s account model has three parts. A workspace is your company or agency account. A brand is one store’s data - its own Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta, and Google connections, all kept separate from any other brand. A seat is a teammate with access to the workspace.

A workspace can hold more than one brand, so an agency can run several client stores from a single workspace, each with its own connections and its own data.

Every teammate in a workspace has one role, from least to most privilege:

Viewer < Member < Admin < Owner

  • Owner and admin can access every brand in the workspace automatically.
  • Member and viewer only see the brands they’ve been explicitly granted, or every brand if they’ve been granted “All.” A member or viewer can never be left with zero brands - if you try to remove their last one, Kreel blocks it.
  • Only an owner or admin can rename the workspace, invite or remove teammates, change roles, manage brand access, add a brand, or manage billing.
  • Only the owner can transfer ownership or delete a brand.
  • A workspace always has exactly one owner, and the sole owner can’t be demoted or removed - transfer ownership first if you need to step back.

Adding a brand gives you a second store’s data in the same workspace, with its own connections and its own onboarding.

  1. Open Settings and find the Brands card.
  2. Click + Add brand.
  3. Enter a Brand name (required) and, optionally, a Currency. Timezone defaults to UTC.
  4. Click Create.

The new brand becomes your active brand and walks you through the same setup as your first one: connecting platforms, then getting an API key for your AI agent. See Quickstart for what that setup looks like.

If your workspace is at its brand limit, Kreel shows an upsell instead of creating the brand. On the Agency plan you can buy an extra brand for €39/mo and continue. On other plans, extra brands are an Agency-plan feature, so you’re offered an upgrade instead.

  1. Open Settings and go to Team.
  2. Under Invite member, enter the teammate’s email.
  3. Choose a role: admin, member, or viewer. (Owner isn’t an invitable role - it can only be transferred from an existing owner.)
  4. If you chose member or viewer, pick brand access: “All” or specific brands. At least one is required before you can send the invite.
  5. Click Send invite.

The teammate joins the workspace the next time they sign in. Owners and admins can see and revoke pending invites from the same page, and can change anyone’s role or brand access later, except the sole owner’s.

If your workspace is at its seat limit, Kreel shows an inline warning instead of sending the invite. Extra seats are €19/mo each on any paid plan, and you can add one and retry the invite right there.

The workspace switcher lives in the sidebar and shows your active workspace and active brand.

  • Click a different workspace to switch into it - Kreel automatically selects that workspace’s first brand.
  • Click a different brand under your current workspace to switch brands without leaving the workspace.
  • Owners and admins also see + Add brand right in the switcher.

If you only belong to one workspace with one brand, and you’re not an owner or admin, the switcher shows as a plain label since there’s nothing to switch to.

There’s no free tier. A new workspace has no plan until you start a trial or subscribe.

Starting a trial requires a card - Kreel uses Stripe Checkout with a 14-day trial, and your card is charged automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel first. Each workspace gets one trial: once it has had a Stripe subscription, even a cancelled one, you reactivate onto a paid plan instead of starting a new trial.

You don’t need a plan to connect your platforms or create your first API key - that part of setup is open before you subscribe. The trial (or an active plan) is required for the rest of the app: your dashboards and your agent’s access to data.

Self-serve plans are priced by brands and seats included:

| Plan | Price | Brands included | Seats included | |---|---|---|---| | Operator | €99/mo | 1 | 2 | | Team | €249/mo | 3 | 5 | | Agency | €499/mo | 10 | 10 |

All four platforms and the full feature set are included on every plan - there are no separate API-call or history limits to worry about. Extra seats are €19/mo each on any plan; extra brands are €39/mo each, available on the Agency plan only. For more than 20 active brands, custom capacity, and onboarding, there is a Scale tier - contact sales@kreel.ai.

If a payment fails once you’re on a paid plan, your workspace keeps working while Stripe retries the card; the Billing page shows a warning and a button to update your payment method.

Manage your plan, add-ons, and payment method from the Billing page in the left navigation. Invoices and payment details live in the Stripe customer portal, linked from that page.

There’s no separate Usage page in Kreel today - a bookmarked link to it will redirect you to Billing. Kreel doesn’t meter API calls, cap your synced history, or limit you per platform. The only account limits are seats and brands, and both are shown as meters on the Billing page.
