Quickstart
This page walks you through the whole path from signing up to querying your data with an AI agent. Follow it in order the first time. Each section links out to a deeper guide if you want more detail.
-
Create your account
Section titled “Create your account”Go to app.kreel.ai and open Create account. Enter your name (optional), email, and a password of at least 8 characters, or continue with Google.
If email confirmation is turned on for your account, you will see a message asking you to check your inbox. Confirm your email, then come back and sign in.
-
Set up your workspace and first brand
Section titled “Set up your workspace and first brand”The first time you sign in, Kreel automatically creates a workspace and a first brand for you. A brand is one store’s data - your first setup step is naming it properly.
On the setup wizard’s first step, enter the brand name (for example, your store name) and, optionally, pick an industry to help tune default settings.
A workspace can hold more than one brand, plus your team’s seats. See Workspaces, brands, and seats for how those fit together.
-
Connect your first platforms
Section titled “Connect your first platforms”On the next step, connect the platforms this brand uses. Any platform works as a starting point - connect the ones you use now, and add the rest later. Shopify is recommended because it adds the revenue context that metrics like MER and CPA are computed against, but it is not required: an ads-only or email-only setup works too.
Every connection is OAuth and read-only by default. You approve access with your own login for that platform, and you can revoke it anytime from Connections.
Platform-specific setup and exactly what Kreel reads from each one:

Wait for your first sync
Section titled “Wait for your first sync”As soon as you approve a connection, Kreel starts pulling your data in the background. You do not need to keep the page open.
Recent data (roughly the last 30 days) usually lands first and is often ready within minutes. Kreel then keeps working backward automatically: up to two years of reporting history for Meta Ads and Google Ads, up to 365 days for Klaviyo, and full order history for Shopify.
A couple of things to expect, not bugs:
- Meta Ads and Google Ads report performance through yesterday, not today, since that day’s numbers are still provisional on the ad platform’s side.
- Shopify and Klaviyo stay much closer to real time.
Full sync cadence and what “fresh” means per platform: Sync and data freshness.
-
See your data in the dashboard
Section titled “See your data in the dashboard”Once your trial is active, your workspace opens on the dashboard. You do not need to wait for older history to finish syncing - the dashboard shows whatever has landed so far, and updates as each platform’s data finishes coming in.
The Connections page also shows a historical-coverage badge per platform, so you can see exactly how far back that platform’s data is verified.
-
Connect your AI agent
Section titled “Connect your AI agent”Your Kreel data is also available to an AI agent, so you can ask questions about performance, generate reports, and more directly from the AI you already use.
The setup wizard’s last steps offer to create an API key and give you a ready-to-paste snippet - you can do this now or skip it and come back later from Settings.
